The story of Dusk Vigil isn't easy on the stomach for some, and so I recommend turning the page if any of these particular things bother you:
- Cannibalism
- Mentions of Dalamud's fall
- Folks you may have lost in this incident
The Ashkin of Dusk Vigil
It's hard to mention the spooks of Coerthas without bringing up Stone vigil...
The place was built long ago, and served it's purpose well enough.
Until one day, when the lesser moon fell, and the knights stationed there became trapped.
They found that the place was falling apart, and yet their corrupt leader wouldn't order the retreat.
Eventually, they began to starve, and when a mutiny occurred, many of them were killed.
And, those who were left, resorted to the sin of eating their fallen.
But nowadays, the place is crawling with Ashkin.
It's difficult to get to, and I don't have the constitution for it.
But should I cross that line?
This was turns ago, not several epochs, not centuries, ten turns.
Why should I go? Why should anyone eye this and make a spectacle of this tragedy?
Those wounds haven't healed, and so I won't approach it.
I think if we stopped to consider the context around these things, less people would have problems with those who enjoy spooks.
And. Less fierce horrible sorts would be attracted to this interest.
Sorry for turning this around, but I ran into this trouble often as I researched.
